Get ready for your next ugly sweater party with a budget friendly, stylish Christmas sweater. Just in time for the holiday season, ugly sweaters are making a comeback for trendy parties with friends, Instagram posts or just a cute outfit to wear! I choose to create a Christmas tree for a classic, festive look...feel free to play around with the design. And when in doubt? Keep adding glitter!
Materials
1 sweater
2 packs of thin tinsel (red and green)
Hot glue gun
Package of small christmas ornaments (optional)
Scissors
Instructions
Lay your sweater on a flat surface. Take your green and red tinsel and begin to make a Christmas tree pattern, starting from the top and working your way down to the bottom of the sweater. Make sure to cascade in size by beginning with a small point and progressing to form the tree.
Once the shape is formed, take a hot glue gun and glue (or sew) the tinsel to the sweater. If you are feeling extra jolly, you can glue small Christmas ornaments to the tree!
