DIY glitter Easter eggs

I'm so egg-cited to share these DIY glitter Easter eggs with you! My mom and I spent the weekend making these beautiful, pastel eggs with a fun glittery twist. The eggs are super cute (and easy to make) for Easter and the perfect home decor accent!

Materials

All purpose paint (different colors!)

Glitter

Mod Podge

Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer

Foam art sponge

Wooden or paper Easter eggs (found at any craft store)

Instructions

Take your Easter eggs and start painting with the foam art sponge. Each egg package comes with twelve eggs, so make sure to add variety to your Easter eggs for different pops of pastel color. After painting, rest the eggs in the carton and let them dry.

After the eggs are dry, take the Mod Podge and paint the desired pattern you want on your egg. For our eggs, we played around with polka dots, covering the egg in glitter, stripes, you name it! Keep applying Mod Podge and glitter until you are happy with the overall look. Once the glitter is applied, spray the eggs with Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Sealer to help the glitter stick.

Place in a vase, bowl or add ribbon to hang on a tree!
