How to Add Festive Christmas Decor to Every Bedroom in Your Home

Christmas is the most enchanting time of the year, and since we moved to a townhouse this summer following Lenora's birth, I've been eager to decorate our new space! It's not significantly larger than our previous home, but with two floors, an updated kitchen, and a room for Lenora, it's genuinely been a transformative place to call home.

It's funny though, despite some breakage during the move, I thought I had more holiday decorations than I actually do! I'm someone that's very mindful when it comes to thoughtfully curating pieces, so while it's beautifully displayed in every room I didn't go over the top with decor so I can continue to slowly grow my collection with quality or vintage items.

I hope the thoughtful curation inspires simple yet elevated decor as you deck the halls in your own home this holiday season!

Vintage pink and blue hues in the master bedroom

Holiday mandatory? A Christmas tree in every room! I always joked with George that when we moved to a bigger place that we'd have a tree in every single room, and while that's not fully the case we added a gorgeous pink tinsel one to our bedroom. Plus, the grandmillennial decor inspiration throughout our room really boded well to the addition of our vintage inspired tree.

I originally wanted the pink tree for Lenora's room, but with fears of it shedding to much or it would fall, I'm keeping it on our room this year. The shimmer is truly magical with just touches of gold, pink and blue ornaments that draw out the gold and dusty blue accents we have throughout our room.

Beyond the tree, we added our Ballard Designs velvet stockings to my dresser for now, before we put them under the tree closer to Christmas. I also have such a love for ginger jars (with many of mine from Home Goods or Williams Sonoma), I fell in love with blue and white porcelin trees that I tucked into next to my ginger jars.

Infant friendly Christmas decor

One of my favorite rooms to decorate was of course, Lenora's room! I needed to pick infant friendly decor so selected soft materials and breakable free items, including felt and wool Martha Stewart Christmas trees found at Home Goods and decorated her bookshelf with adorable holiday books, including:

And, you can't have a baby friendly Christmas without adorable stuffed animals. I added a Santa and reindeer from my own childhood, but also purchased the adorable Cuddle & Kind gingerbread. As more of an heirloom touch, on the pink dresser I placed the pastel gingerbread house next to her Lo Home ginger jar.
