Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree! We're counting down to the holidays with a festive charcuterie tree. I always love finding fun appetizers or ways to serve an assortment of savory goodies for guests to enjoy, especially during this time of year - which is why this charcuterie tree is the perfect staple for any holiday gathering.
Deck the tree!
The focal point of a charcuterie tree is of course the cheese and meat selections, so it's important to have a variety of hardy options paired with decadent bites that complement your tree.
Foam cone from the craft store
Plastic wrap
Toothpicks
Assorted cheeses (aged cheddar, mozzarella, Drunken Goat, and more!)
Rosemary
Salami
Grape tomatoes (or olives and dried fruit)
How to assemble your charcuterie tree:
Wrap the cone in plastic wrap and stick your toothpicks into the foam cone.
Cut your assorted cheeses into cubes and one by one stick into an empty toothpick. You'll want to start with the larger pieces, followed by your fillers like grape tomatoes or olives and dried fruit.
Once the tree is full, cut sprigs of rosemary and fill in the gaps to create a tree like effect.
